More fabulous pics from Nana! We went to the old train station in Canyon to take some pics. As usual, they turned out fabulous! With 210 pictures it was hard to pick my favorites! After our photo shoot shoot we enjoyed lunch and then painted toes.....what more could you ask for in a fun filled day!!!!!!

Makin' a big Splash!!!!!
One of our favorite things about summer is going swimming. We go almost everyday. Jake has spent the first half of the summer barely getting his feet wet and spending most of his time at the concession stand. However, this week he has finally decided to go down the kiddy slide. Nevermind that I've spent every day this summer trying to convince him that it's fun.....he just decided this week that he wanted to do it and LOVES it! Now he spends his whole time sliding again, and again, and again. Jarett on the other hand, has always loved the slides and now is doing so well I don't have to be in the water with him. Here are a few pics of them having a blast on the slides!

Playset in the making

We survived the firework stand!!!!!
Well we survived!!!! We definitely learned alot through this whole ordeal. We learned that "its only 10 days" is really 13 and that selling fireworks also means 13 nights of camping, eating out every meal, stocking your own stand.....then restocking it because you did it wrong. We also learned that only very close families can do this because who else can live with 2 adults, 2 kids and 2 dogs in a travel trailer without driving each other crazy. I personally learned that June 21-july 1 were the longest, hottest, most boring days of my life until sales picked up on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. But, in the long run we learned that we have the best family and friends EVER who were so willing to help us and take care of our boys when we needed them to! All in all it was a success! Brian is already gung-ho to do it again next year but personally I'm waiting to forget some of the not-so-glamorous things about it before I commit! Thanks to every one who supported us by buying fireworks, bringing food, keeping our boys, and just coming to keep me company!

Fireworks on the 5th....
We had our little firework show on the 5th since we were working our tails off on the 4th! Jake loved the "sparkles" he called the sparklers. Jarett was more interested in the bigger stuff. He was very proud to light some of the fireworks and hold the Roman candles in his hand. There were so many cool looking things in our stand we just had to see what some of them did!!!!!
